Susan Victoria Zeigler “Vickie” Simmons, 69, a resident of Fort Deposit, Ala., died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Crowne Health Care in Greenville, Ala.  Funeral services will be Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Fort Deposit Church of Christ with Minister David Sergeant, Minister J.T. Harrison and Minister Aaron Pettus officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home of Greenville, Ala., directing. Interment will follow at Fort Dale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, Ala.

Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Nell Zeigler, and brother, Lewis Zeigler. She is survived by her husband, Mark Simmons; daughter, Brenda Dean (Lee); son, Chris Simmons; grandchildren, Catherine and Elizabeth Dean, Tori, Chris Jr., and Christina Simmons; brother, Billy Zeigler; sister, Evelyn Provenzano, and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Max Conway, Grady Holley, Ronnie Paulk, Mike Moorer, Jimmy Loftin, and Richard Provenzano.
