Edna Sirmon Kirkland, 86, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. James Sasser officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Kirkland is preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Kirkland; step daughters, Cindy Johnson and Rhonda Park; parents, Owen and Aure Mae Sirmon; sisters, Louise Warren, Ruth Anderson and Sybil Sirmon, and brother, Glenn Sirmon.  She is survived by her step son-in-law, William Park of Newton, Ala.; stepson, Ronald Kirkland (Shirley) of Cowart, Ala.; a number of step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Harold Kirkland of Greenville, Ala.; sister: Ethelyn Watson of Greenville, Ala.; brother, Harold Sirmon, and a number of nieces and nephews.
