Willie Elizabeth Freeman Butts, 95, a resident of Fort Deposit, Ala., went to be with her Savior on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Deposit, Ala., with Rev. Eric Jackson officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to services.  Interment will follow in Little Sandy Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Butts is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Butts; her parents, William Edward Freeman and Delilah Wilson Freeman; and great-grandchild, Alexander Kade Hood.  She is survived by her children, Edward O. Butts (Sonja) of Mobile, Ala., Elton M. Butts (Teresa) of Mobile, Ala., Faye Hood Stewart (John) of Fort Deposit, Ala., Danice Bowen (David) of Fort Deposit, Ala., Janice Taylor (Ronnie) of Lapine, Ala., Ellis W. Butts of Spring City, Tenn., Eric L. Butts (Mavis) of Madison, Ala., 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Tommy Bowen, Bob Hood, Jonathan Butts, Dexter Taylor, Robert Bowen, Brandon Hood, Eugene Taylor, and Daniel Butts.

In lieu of flowers “Miss” Willie would like all donations to be made to OES Cancer Research, 1423 Upper Kingston Road, Prattville, AL 36067.
