Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Kelley were held on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala. Rev. King Robinson officiated. Burial followed in Peavey Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., directed.

To everything there is a season…. A time to be born: the appointed time for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Montgomery-Kelley was Oct. 6, 1944, whose parents were the late Eathel Tyson and the late Elosie Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. D. Frost, and sister, Lillie E. Thomas.

Her application was accepted Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 at Crowne Health Care, for she had an appointment to see God. At an early age she attended the New Hope Baptist Church.

Memories of a beautiful life upon God’s green earth will be forever cherished by her husband, Mr. Ollie Kelley; her two sisters, Jeanette Marsh and Annie Marsh; three brothers, J.C. Montgomery, James Montgomery, both of Greenville, Ala., and Willie Lee Montgomery, Clayton, Ala.; aunt, Willie Bell Rawling, South Carolina; son she raised, Joshua Allen, Greenville, Ala.; brother-in-law, Henry Lee Kelley, Arcadia, Fla.;  a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
