Funeral services for Master Carter Jimel Jones will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. from New Beginning Ministries. Bishop Harold Daniels will be officiating. Burial will follow in St. Frances

churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., will be directing.

Master Carter Jimel “Baby Carter” Jones’ earthly life began on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in Montgomery, Alabama at Baptist East to the eager parents of Deacon Fred and Shernitta “Punkin” Jones. Carter’s early arrival came along with many complications, which his little body endured many procedures to ease his condition. After being released from the hospital Carter touched so many lives and gained the hearts of many by his adorable photogenic gestures on Facebook.

Carter was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ellie Mae Stewart; uncle, Jimel Jones; great-grand parents, Carrie and George Sturgeon, Elmore and Addie Jones, Robert Stewart and Helen Albritton. Carter’s life on earth ended on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at L.V. Stabler Hospital surrounded by family and friends who witnessed him be a strong little fighter, while enduring a lot.
