Kelly Bodiford, 88, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died Friday, Nov. 20, 2015.  The funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Bodiford was preceded in death by his parents, William and Luvadia Bodiford; sisters, Elsie Bodiford, Melba Sanders and Etta Mae McClure; brothers, Tom, J.W., Merrill Bodiford and son-in-law, Phillip Pickens. He is survived by his wife, Jean Bodiford; children, Betty Bodiford Pickens of Greenville, Sally Bodiford Piggott (James) of Greenville and Linda Bodiford Jernigan (Patrick) of Greenville; grandchildren, Ginger Norman (Todd) of Greenville, Raisin Seymour (Clint) of Sharpsburg, Ga., Kal Piggott (Melissa) of Crestview, Fla., Tricia Jernigan of Ft. Worth, Texas, Leander Pickens (Kathy) of Greenville, Robie Hinson (Tommy) of Greenville, Leonora Harrison (Nathan) of Mobile, Ala., Slade Piggott (Jehle) of Greenville, Bodie Pickens (Beth) of Burnt Corn, Ala., and Lillian Jernigan of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Cody and Cam Norman, Haley and Jacob Seymour, Blake and Kaylee Piggott, Jamie and Noah Pickens, Blaine Hinson, Phillip Harrison, William Pride Piggott and Samuel Pickens; sister, Doris Parrish of Monroeville, Ala.; brothers, Robert Bodiford (Dolly) of Excel, Ala., and Herdis Bodiford (Nell) of Excel; many nieces and nephews and faithful furry companions, Bongo, Dollie, Willie and Mavis.

Mr. Bodiford was a faithful Sunday school teacher, church worker and bus driver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 211 King Street, Greenville.
