Annice H. Wallace

Funeral services for Annice H. Wallace, 81, were held Saturday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. Rick Patrick and Dr. Larry Morrison officiating. Burial was held in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, Ala.

Mrs. Wallace died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Luther Wallace Jr.; her parents, Harmon and Doris Hagler; sister, Stella Barrett; and brother, Jackie Teal Hagler.

Mrs. Wallace was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she was a gracious Southern lady. She loved to cook and ministering to others through her cooking. Mrs. Wallace loved the Lord. Special thanks to Coosa Valley Hospice and her sitters, Linda Green, Nan Gaither and Christi Letcher.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Jones (husband Troy) of Sylacauga and Pam Burleson (husband Tommy) of Hoover, Ala.; son, David Wallace (wife Betsy) of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Todd Burleson (wife Amber), Cy Burleson (wife Kendall), Brittany Jones Hardy (husband Matt), Adam Jones (wife Mindy), Lindsay Jones Johns (husband Rance), Jessie Wallace and Dylan Wallace; great-grandchildren, Madison, Hudson, Hadley and Adalyn; sisters, Gloria Dean (husband Earnest) of Greenville, Ala., and Catherine Avery (husband Bobby) of Sylacauga.

Mrs. Wallace finished high school at Blue Springs (Barbour County) in 1952.

Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. The family served as pallbearers.
