Festivities for Crenshaw Christian Academy’s 2015 Homecoming will begin Thursday night, Oct. 1, with a “Glow-in-the-Dark” pep rally beginning at 7 p.m.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with all kinds of “Glow-in-the Dark” merchandise for sale, ranging from $1 to $5.

On Friday, Oct. 2, homecoming begins with the 1 p.m. assembly in the CCA gym. There will be a formal presentation of the Homecoming Queen and her court.

During the assembly, the returning classes of ‘86, ’91, ’96 and ’06 will be recognized, along with the 2016 senior class and the 2015 football team.

Following the court’s presentation, a pep rally featuring the Baby Cougarette Dancers, the Cougarette Dancers, the Pee Wee Cheerleaders, the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, the Varsity Cheerleaders and the CCA JV and Varsity Dance teams will begin.

After the assembly and pep rally, an alumni tea, hosted by the 2016 Senior Class, for all returning alumni, spouses, alumni parents and former teachers will be held in the CCA library.

Friends and Alumni are invited to participate in singing the National Anthem prior to the 7 p.m. kick-off between the CCA Cougars and the Russell Christian Academy Warriors.

Participants are asked to be at the concession stand on the south end of the field for a quick practice before singing.

The presentation of the Homecoming Queen and her court will be at halftime.
