Don L. Seale

Don L. Seale passed away peacefully in his home on Sept. 4, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with a resperitory illness.  He proudly and honorably served his country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army.  His tour of duty was served in Germany as a military policeman during the Korean and Cold War.

Mr. Seale was preceded in death by his parents, Norvelle and Ethel Seale, and his sister, Debby Casey.

Seale is survived by his wife, Jean Seale; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Paula Seale; two grandchildren, Jacob and Addison Seale; brothers, Billy and Bobby Seale; sisters, Jean White and Mary Thornburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. with the funeral immediately following at 3 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Georgiana, Ala.  Masonic graveside services were held after the funeral at Oakwood Cemetery.  Active and honorary pallbearers were the Masonic Friends.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations can be made to any hospice or charity organization of your choice in his name.  Arrangements and online condolences can be found and made at www.johnsongeorgiana.com.
