What a joy it is, to be in a place where God is blessing.

Greater St. Matthew AME Church in Brantley, where I am the pastor, is on the move for the glory of God.

We are building a bridge from the church to our community because we understand that the church will struggle without the community and the community will die without the Church.

We love God and His people. We would love for you to come and experience the difference.

When you come to Greater St. Matthew, we are going to love you no matter who you are, where you have been, or how you look.

We have a beehive of activities for all ages. Here are some of the activities we have done in the month of July and August.

On July 18, we had a basketball tournament at the Brantley School gym. It was awesome! We had teams to come from Eufaula, Clio, Dozier, Luverne and Brantley.

The Eufaula team won the tournament.

On July 22-25, Vacation Bible School was extraordinary!

We had about 80 people attend each night. The teachers taught the lessons with excitement and God moved in a very powerful way.

On Aug. 1, we were able to take our youth and adults to Destin, Fla. It was a blast!

Thanks, members, for displaying the love of God.

Thanks, parents, for trusting us with your child.

You are welcome to experience the difference on Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., for Wired for Worship youth Bible study; and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults Bible study.

We have worship service every Sunday morning, with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and church service at 11:09 a.m.
