Wiley Russell, 78, a resident of Andalusia, Ala., passed away on Friday, May 15. A A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Blackburn officiating. Burial followed in South Butler Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directing arrangements. A gathering of family and friends was held from 1 p.m. until service time. Survivors include brothers, Buddy Russell of Gantt, Ala., John (Marilyn) Russell of Spanish Fort, Ala., Paul (Nelda) Russell of Theodore, Ala., and Allen (Ann) Russell of Fort Deposit, Ala., and a number of nieces and nephews.
