Paul W. Moore, 80, was born Sept. 4, 1934, to Oliver and Minnie (Hamilton) Moore in Brantley; the youngest of nine children. He departed this life quietly on May 9, 2015, in Atlanta, Ga.

Paul graduated in 1953 from Luverne High School and later moved to Niagara Falls, NY. He served in the U.S. Army and held various positions during his work life, including employment with Kimberly Clark, General Motors Corporation and Harrison Radiator Division in Lockport, NY. He retired in 1996 and relocated to Brantley.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory two children: Dorothy (Kenneth) Rouse and Larry (Joan) Kemp; one sister, Annie (Ned) Davis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special great-nephew, Norris Sullivan; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by son, James Marvin Moore; and eight siblings, Callie Moore, Elmira Matthews, James Otis Moore, Mattie Broughton, Lonnie Lee Moore, Walter Ray Moore and Marjorie Knighton.

A private graveside committal service will be held at Mulberry Cemetery. Kirks Funeral Chapel, Inc., of Andalusia, is handling the arrangements.
