John Timothy “Tim” Williamson, 48, a resident of Greenville, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Mr. Kenny Harden, Sheriff of Butler County, officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Entombment will follow at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on McGough Road in Crenshaw County. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Teague Ward and maternal grandparents, Rogers and Bessie Teague.

Tim is survived by his father, John Bill Williamson; stepfather, Lavon Ward of Greenville; aunts and uncles: Ruth and Robert Horn of Luverne, Harold and Mary Teague of Greenville, Dianne and Jimmy Williamson of Greenville, Mary P. McGrath of Orlando, Fla., William and Joyce Bilger of Ormond Beach, Fla.; seven cousins: Stanley Foster, Greg Foster, Renee Kelley, Rodney Teague, Scott Teague, Michelle Himmelberger and Teresa Bayles; half-sister, April W. Shaneyfelt; two half-brothers: Stephen Williamson and Josh Williamson; special friend, Katrina Hackart of Jacksonville, Fla.; and close friends: Jessie Hackart and DeAgo Martin.

Active pallbearers will be the Deputies of the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Foster, Greg Foster, Rodney Teague, Scott Teague and Terry Joe Johnson and other law enforcement officers.

Edward Clayton Campbell

Mr. Edward Clayton Campbell, 75, of Headland, Ala., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 in a Dothan hospital. Funeral services were held on 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Clark and Rev. John White officiating.  Interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, and visitation was at 1 p.m. at Foremen Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Clydie Campbell of Headland; his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lorraine Campbell of Ozark and Danny and Deborah Campbell of Greenville, Ala.; his grandchildren, Bryan, Beth, Meagan, Ashley, Josh, Justin, Jonathan, Hayden and Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Gloria Campbell of headland and several nieces and nephews. Cecil Columbus Cook

Cecil Columbus Cook, age 93, a resident of Bay Minette, died on Mon., Oct. 27, 2014, at Mobile Infirmary.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., Oct. 31, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Padalino and Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Pearcey Cook; parents, Clifford and Betty Cook; and brother and sister-in-law, Noel and Evelyn Cook.

Cecil is survived by his daughter, Faye C. Geiger (Raymond) of Elberta; sons, Jeff Cook (Yvonne) of Indianapolis, IN and David Cook (Debra) of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces.

Lee R. Dunn Jr.

Lee R. Dunn Jr., age 85, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Wed., Oct. 22, 2014, at Georgiana Health and Rehabilitation in Georgiana. Born and raised in Greenville, Lee enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1947, serving in what became the U.S. Air Force for 24 years until his retirement in 1971 as Chief Master Sergeant.

Lee received many awards and decorations for his service in the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, where he managed and supervised aircraft maintenance for the Hurricane Hunters; his work controlling and directing B-52 aircraft maintenance with the 7th Bombardment Wing Headquarters Strategic Air Command; and his work as a crew chief on many aircraft and as aircraft inspector with the 407th Strategic Fighter Wing, among other assignments.

Upon his military retirement, Lee moved his family back to Georgiana to be closer to his aging parents, and served for 20 years in the U.S. Postal Service, retiring from this second career in 1991.

Lee was a skilled baseball player, having played on U.S. Air Force teams and in community intermural games. He enjoyed all of the ball-playing activities of his sons and of his grandchildren, helping them all learn his sweet home-run swing.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Kathleen “Kitty” Skipper Dunn; parents, Leroy Dunn, Sr., and Tabitha Frances “Fanny” Duncan Dunn. He is survived by his three sons, Steven (Laurie) Prentice-Dunn of Northport, Greg Dunn of Fletcher, N.C. and David Dunn of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two grandchildren; and his sister, Frances Dunn Hudson of Birmingham.

A celebration of life was held on Mon., Oct. 27, at Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Wilson officiated. Burial followed in Sunrise Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements.

George W. Green

George W. Green, a resident of Greenville born June 4, 1936, entered into his eternal rest on October 28, 2014.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a great friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin and Lonnie Lee Bowling Green, and sons, George Wallace Green and Michael Edward Mitchell.

George is survived by his wife, Stella M. Green; daughters, Robbie L. (John) Hall and Tiffany J. (Louis) Duncan; son, Jeffery W. Green; grandchildren, Christopher W. (Kimberly) Hall, Ashley C. (Matthew) Forbus, Caleb M. Lock, Matthew T. H. Lock, Caitlyn G. Lock; a great-grandson, George Hardy Forbus; and his beloved dog “Sandy” Green.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ronald Sherman (Ronnie) Lowery

Ronald Sherman (Ronnie) Lowery, 53, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 with Rev.
