Mrs. Jeanette Kiker Penn Fuller, 93, a resident of Patsburg died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 at the Patsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Butts officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Granny loved her family, her church, her friends, her flowers, planting and working in her garden and feeding her stray cats. She is also well known for her delicious pound cakes and sweet potato pies. Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her husbands, Luther M. Penn, Sr. and Aaron Fuller; her parents, Joseph Homer and Marguret Pounds Kiker; and seven siblings, Hoyt Kiker (Vanner), Lloyd Kiker (Leonna), Dussie Mintz (Willie), Lois Reid (Calvin), Floyd Kiker (Edna), Howard Kiker (Sarah) and Ross Kiker (Nellie). Survivors include her two sons, Lawrence M. (Peggy) Penn of Wetumpka and Luther M. Penn, Jr. of Vilonia, Ark.; three grandchildren, Rodney L. (Angie) Penn, Camille Penn (Ray) James and Ashley Jackson (Brad) Moon; six great-grandchildren, Robert L. (Loryn) Penn, Brittney Thornton, Brady Penn, Hanna James, Aaron James and Amelia Moon; one great-great-grandchild, Kylee Penn; and a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Rodney Penn, Rob Penn, Brady Penn, Ray James Brad Moon and Jamie Mintz. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time. The family would like to thank Luverne Health and Rehabilitation and Comfort Care Hospice for taking such good care of our mother.
