William Dale Friend, 67, a resident of Georgiana, died on Aug. 15.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Watson Wasden officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 18,from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Mr. Friend was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Jo Friend; son, Cody Friend; and granddaughter, Brittany; four brothers, Eddie, Junior, Allen and Bob; sister, Gloria Friend McCoy.  He is survived by his sons, Billy Dale Friend, Jr. (Teisha) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Michael Wayne Friend of Richmond, Ky., Gregory S. Lewis of Cumberland, Ky.; daughter, Melissa Lynn Friend of Georgiana; grandchildren, Jonathan William Friend of Cincinnati, Ohio, Billy Dale Friend, III of Cincinnati, Ohio and Abigail Grace Boothe of Georgina; brothers, Eugene, Donnie, Ronald, Gary, Ike, Paul David and Tim all of Kentucky; sisters, Waveline Friend Sparks, Josephine Friend Gross both of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.
