Mr. Paul Cottrell, 79, a resident of Greenville, passed away Aug. 8. A graveside service was held Aug. 10 at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Bob Paul officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Mr. Cottrell was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Dean Cottrell; grandson, Chip Rogers; sisters, Gladys Stinson and Vonnie Mae McMurray; and brother, Clyde Cottrell. Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Nordan Hilburn (Wylie) of Cleveland, Miss., and Pat Rogers (Billy Ray) of Greenville; son, Paul Cottrell; four grandchildren, Donna Marie Rogers of Greenville, Brian Coleman Hilburn of Clinton, Miss., John Blake Hilburn (Marnie) of Canton, Miss., and Leslie Hilburn Waters (Brent) of Hattiesburg, Miss.; five great-grandchildren, Lucy Kate Waters, Coleman Keith Waters, Hunter Ray Owens, Hannah Ensley Owens, Haylie Elizabeth Acree; brother, John Allen Cottrell of Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.  Online Condolences may be placed at dunklinanddanielsfh.com.
