Willard and Nell Hall celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner party at Goshen’s Old Barn restaurant Aug. 2.

The couple said they had a wonderful and exciting time with the 60 people in attendance. Friends and family from Abbeville, Elba, Brantley, Greenville, Georgiana, Glenwood and Troy Joined the Halls. The meal included green salad, chicken or steak and a baked potato. For dessert, they had the most exciting cake made by Mrs. Connie Floyd of Troy. Everyone enjoyed it.

The decorations included white tablecloths with burlap runners down the middle of them; beautiful bouquets of pink and white American Beauty roses personally designed by Ms. Donna Hogan of Brundidge. The room featured a pink and white 60th anniversary banner. The very talented Miss Cass Davis of Troy photographed the event. The Halls’ daughter, Kathy Bradshaw, did the highlights of the couple’s life history. The celebration ended with a toast of sparkling cider, delivered by their son, Randy Hall. The Halls said they received many beautiful cards and appreciated it very much. A good time was enjoyed by everyone.
