Mr. Johnny Carol Capps, 66, a resident of Brantley, died suddenly Saturday Aug. 2, 2014 at his residence. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 at Brunson Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Gary Daniels officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Capps was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Bernice Hall Capps and a nephew, Jason Kelley. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sarah O. Capps: his daughter, Charity Branyale Calhoun; three grandchildren, Makala Beckner, Hannah Calhoun and Andrew Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Edward Kelley; a niece, Amy Kelley; two nephews, Michael Kelley and Tony Kelley; two great-nephews, Avery Sullivan and Brett Kelley; and a great-niece, Jacy Kelley. Active pallbearers were Tony Kelley, James Lamar Hall, Ivan Crowe, Brett Kelley and Chris West.
