Eight vying for county’s DYW title

Eight young women will compete Saturday for the title of Butler County’s Distinguished Young Woman. The competition will be held at 7 p.m. at the historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Greenville. The doors to the theater will open at 6:30 p.m. Contestants include, seated from left to right, Ashton Scott, Paige Campbell, Holland Steadham, Kennadee Smith, Cailyn Thompson, Naareh Cooke and Kathryn McGowin.
