Ray W. Lowery, 94, a resident of Georgiana, passed away Aug. 2. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. Survivors include: wife, Ruby Lowery, Georgiana; sons, Charles R. Lowery, Grand Bay, Ala., Larry D. Lowery, Pensacola, Fla., Michael E. Lowery, Greenville, Donald (Terri) Lowery and Ronald Lowery, both of Georgiana; daughters, Judy Williams, Mobile, Ala., Sue Blackburn, Glenda Beesley, and Linda Stuckey, all of Georgiana, Barbara (Jack) Baggett and Brenda (Roger) Salter, both of Evergreen, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
