Rev. Peggy Meshall Williams received her Doctorate of Ministry degree in Christian Community Development from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Ill., on June 7.

Williams, who currently serves as the associate pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Madison, Wisc., received her Masters of Divinity degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in June of 2009.

She has earned a master’s degree in management, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faulkner University. She is a 1981 graduate of Greenville High School and is the daughter of the late Deacon Claude Williams and Mrs. Thelma Williams.
