ALDOT to close Edmund Pettus Bridge for filming

The Alabama Department of Transportation announced today that the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge on U.S. Highway 80 in Selma will be closed during the hours of 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, June 23, through Thursday, June 26 ,to allow filming of the movie “Selma.”

Through traffic should use the U.S. Highway 80 Truck Route (Selma Bypass). The Alabama Department of Public Safety and local law enforcement will assist with traffic control.
