Pelfrey, Mixon to exchange vows May 17

Mr. and Mrs. David Pelfrey of Cincinnati, Ohio, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lauren Pelfrey, to William Eugene Mixon, son of Linda Lou Mixon of Miramar Beach, Fla., and the late William Hunter Mixon, Sr., of Fort Deposit, Ala.

Miss Pelfrey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie McCall of Travelers Rest, S.C., and Marilyn Pelfrey of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the late Charles F. Pelfrey.

She earned her master’s degree from the University of Alabama.

The maids of honor will be Kelsey Gallant and Melanie McLaughlin. The bride’s attendants will be Sarah Dallam, Priya Patel, Ansley Wesler and Madison Pelfrey.

The bride will wear a strapless ivory ball gown with a semi-cathedral-length train and will carry ivory and white flowers.

Mr. Mixon earned his MBA from the University of Alabama.

The best man will be Michael Barnett.

The groomsmen will be Daniel Branum, Brad Joyner, William Tisdale, Trevor Spring and Alan Kimber.

Dr. Gorman Houston of First United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa will officiate the ceremony, which will be held May 17 at 5 p.m. at The Oaks in Centreville, Ala.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Northport, Ala.
