Branum awarded ‘Tagged For Greatness’ scholarship

Hudson Branum, of Greenville, was presented with a “Tagged For Greatness” scholarship at the 71st Annual Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Convention and Trade Show in Montgomery.

Hudson is the son of Glenn and Nancy Branum from Greenville, Alabama in Butler County. Hudson will graduate from Fort Dale Academy with a 4.17 GPA and a 28 score on his ACT. Hudson is a National Honor Student, Mu Alpha Theta, Senior Beta Bowl,SGA Officer, SGA Representative, AB Honor Roll, Good Citizenship Award. He was captain of both the basketball and football teams.  He serves as Eagle Rep-Host for Fort Dale, Ambassador for Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Key Club, FACTS Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletics and pep squad. Hudson is undecided on colleges but plans to major in Civil Engineering.

Each year, the Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation awards “Tagged for Greatness” scholarships to deserving youth from Alabama’s livestock industry.  These scholarships are funded through the sale of the “Cowboy Tag” which is available at your county’s tag office and is approved for vehicles up to 10,000 pounds.
