Wayne Devon Owens, 65, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama passed away April 22. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on April 26 at the Johnson Funeral chapel with Rev. Larry Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Nelda Owens, Georgiana; daughters, Kimberly (Johnny) Compton, and Crystal (Chris) Reynolds, all of Greenville; sons, Shawn Owens, Georgiana, and Devin Owens, Sanford, N.C.; brothers, Roy Owens, and Kenny Owens, both of Georgiana; three granddaughters; six grandsons; and a number of aunts and cousins.
