Mr. Danny Wayne Palmer, 58, a resident of McKenzie, died Saturday, March 22, 2014.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Simmons and Donnie Holmes officiating.

Interment followed in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Palmer; his father, Claude Palmer and a sister, Susan Ann Palmer.  Survivors include two children, Michael Palmer and Michelle (Robert) Rainey; three grandchildren, Wesley, Kristen and Noah Rainey; his mother, Ruth Holmes Duke; three sisters, Linda Jenkins, Shelia (James) Buchanan, and Patsy (Chris) Dunklin; and three brothers, John “Bo” Duke, Charles “Cotton” Duke, and Rickey (Santana) Duke.  Active pallbearers were Mac Johnson, Tony Mount, Michael Palmer, Rickey Duke, John “Bo” Duke, Robert Rainey, and Charles “Cotton” Duke.
