Tyler William Phillips, 27, a resident of Knoxville, Tenn., died on Tuesday Nov. 12, 2013. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Lovett and Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., will direct arrangements. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Bush. Survivors include: father, Bruce Phillips of Georgiana, Ala.; mother and stepfather, Lisa and John Skladan of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Sister: Haley (Trey) Mason of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandparents, William and Sue Phillips of Georgiana, Ala., and Tony Butts of Selma, Ala.; step-grandfather, John Bush of Greenville, Ala.; stepsister, Rebecca Forbes of Oxford, Mich.; stepbrother, Jason Skladan of New Bern, N.C.; aunt and uncle, Deanna and Roger Stinson of Georgiana, Ala.; longtime personal friend, Sergei (Heather) Bolen of Knoxville, Tenn.;  a number of nieces and nephews, great aunts and uncles.
