A trio of Greenville residents celebrated Veterans Day weekend by competing in the 9th Annual Pensacola Marathon on Sunday. Pictured are, Amy Rowell, Jake Smith and Chad Edwards. A trio of Greenville residents celebrated Veterans Day weekend by competing in the 9th Annual Pensacola Marathon on Sunday.

Amy Rowell completed the marathon in 4 hours and 12 minutes. Jake Smith finished in three hours and 17 minutes, and Chad Edwards completed the race in five hours and 14 minutes.

The 26.2-mile race began at Veteran’s Memorial Park and ended next to the only replica of the National Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C.
