Lowery’s Towing recognized by AAA Alabama

AAA Alabama honored Independent Roadside Service providers Tuesday at its annual awards luncheon for outstanding customer service during 2012-2013.

Among those recognized was Greenville’s Lowery’s Towing, which received a Service Pro Award.

Ten providers received the Service Pro Award, which is given to roadside service providers that exceed standards in all measured areas in 2012-2013.

“Members turn to AAA Alabama during their time of need, and it’s imperative to have excellent service providers who can come to their rescue and get them back on the road. Our honorees are a great example of companies that go above and beyond to take care of AAA members and their automotive needs,” said Al Gibbs, Vice President and General Manager, AAA Alabama.

Service Provider of the Year, Battery Service Provider of the Year, and Technician of the Year recipients were also announced at the awards luncheon.

From among those honored, United Towing & Transport in Huntsville, was recognized as Service Provider of the Year.  The Service Provider of the Year is selected based on a number of criteria including outstanding member service performance, contributions to AAA Alabama programs, initiatives and community leadership.

AAA Alabama also honored United Towing & Transport in Huntsville as Battery Service Provider of the Year.  To receive this award the candidate must achieve the highest ranking of overall performance in the AAA Battery Service Program.

Additionally, Wesley Taylor, with United Towing & Transport in Huntsville, received the Technician of the Year Award.  Taylor was selected from amongst all service providers for achieving the highest levels of member service and member satisfaction scores.

This year AAA Alabama also honored five service providers with the prestigious Five Diamond roadside service award for earning an “Excellent Rating” in overall satisfaction, service driver satisfaction and satisfaction with response time throughout 2012-2013.
