John Robert “Bob” Huggins, 65, a resident of McKenzie, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in South Butler Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Nell Huggins; parents, Glen and Addie B. Huggins; and brother, Ray Huggins. Mr. Huggins is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Emmerson, Gainsville, Fla., Melissa Huggins and Leigh Smith, both of McKenzie; sisters, Eleanor Jones, Montgomery, Ala., Nancy Ross, Navarre Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
