First Citizens team takes first at LBWCC/Camellia City Classic

The LBW Community College Foundation recently held the annual LBWCC/Camellia City Classic Golf Tournament at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville to raise funds for student scholarships and activities. Todd Norman, Cody Norman, Joby Norman and Sam Starr combined to take first place at the 8th annual LBWCC/Camellia City Classic on Wednesday.

The tournament, which was held at Cambrian Ridge, helps raise funds for student scholarships and activities.

The team of Pete Coon, Ricky Langston, Scott Burkett and Sam Wilson claimed second place, while the team of Jonathan Byrd, Ronnie Danby, Lee Yi  and Dexter McLendon finished in third place.

Ed Short won the closest to the pin competition and Steve Brown took top honors in the long drive competition.
