Julia Ellen Parker, 84, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in South Butler with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. Family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. until service time. Ms. Parker is survived by her sons, Myron Parker, Eufaula, Ala., and Bruce Parker, McKenzie; sister, Francis Smith, Luverne, Ala.; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
