Butler County students named to RSTC President’s, Dean’s lists

Reid State Technical College recently honored its spring semester honor students.

Nine students from Butler County were among those honored for being named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List.

To be named to the President’s List a student must post a 4.0 GPA for a minimum of 12 semester hours.

To be named to the Dean’s List a student must post at least a 3.5 GPA for 12 semester hours.

Several students were also recognized as “Most Outstanding Students” for their work in clinical and lab environments.

Students honored included: Tosh Taylor, Dean’s List, Cosmetology; Rachel Hall, Dean’s List, Most Outstanding Student, Office Administration; Crystal Schofield, Dean’s List, Most Outstanding Student, Office Administration; Dylon McNaughton, Dean’s List, Collision Repair Technology; Tabatha Miniard, President’s List, Childcare Education; Valerie Mickles, President’s List, Childcare Education; Elouise Stone, Dean’s List, Office Administration; Brenda Pleasant, President’s List, Office Administration; and Kimmie Reynolds, Dean’s List, Industrial Electronics.

Reid State Technical College is a rural, degree-granting, two-year institution located in Evergreen that provides academic and technical education.
