Ruby Faye Pruett, 84. a resident of Georgiana, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Funeral services were held in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakey Streak Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements. Mrs. Pruett was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Pruett. Survivors include: daughters Cathy Tobey from Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Donna Broussard from Red Level; sister Mary Parker, grandchildren Dan Tobey from New York, Sabrina Blakely from Millbrook, Angela Tobey from New York and Amanda Cobb from Alabama, and five great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.johnsongeorgiana.com.
