Chamber hosting Social Security seminar Thursday

The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a free Social Security seminar Thursday.
Guest speakers David Brooks and Matt Anderson of Merill Lynch Wealth Management will discuss “Strategies for Optimizing Social Security Income Benefits.”
Brooks and Davidson will touch on topics such as why someone shouldn’t claim Social Security at the age of 62, should a person claim Social Security immediately after retiring, does marital status impact benefits and does Social Security provide a hedge against inflation.
The seminar is free to the public and begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. at the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 1 Depot Square.
