Friends and family of the Springhill Community woman who was injured in a February wreck have come together to “Jam for Haley” Saturday night.

The event, which will be held at the Luverne Country Club, will feature three bands – County Road 66, Patsalagia and 10-6 Upstairs.

Admission is $10 per person and $15 per couple. Doors open at 6 p.m. and bands begin at 7 p.m.

There will also be a raffle, with the top prize being a $100 cash prize.

“We have everything from cakes to gift certificates to restaurants and businesses,” said organizer Carrie Mitchell.

Raffle tickets are $10 each.

All proceeds go to help with medical expenses for Haley Mitchell and her daughter Kamryn, who were seriously injured in a wreck between their pickup truck and a log truck in February on Alabama Highway 106.

Carrie Mitchell said they are still seeking donations for raffle items from businesses and people.

Anyone interested in making a donation is asked to call 804-8716 or 804-5117.
