Jesse King Strickland, 80, a resident of Ft. Deposit died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 30, at 3 p.m. at Myrtlewood Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife Louise Strickland; sons, Rick, Michael, and David Strickland, all of Ft. Deposit, and Terry Strickland, Killeen, Texas; brothers, Robert Strickland, Montgomery, John Strickland, Georgia, and Roy Strickkland, Millbrook; sister, Lucille Boutwell, Braggs; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Casual attire for the services has been requested. Following the services the family will receive friends and family at the Fort Deposit Methodist Church.
