Putting on the Ritz opens tonight

The Ritz Players will once again take the stage Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for the Greenville Area Arts Council’s annual production of Putting on the Ritz. (Advocate Staff/Andy Brown)
Some of Alabama’s most notable artists will take center stage tonight when the curtain goes up on the Greenville Area Arts Council’s Putting on the Ritz production.
The Ritz Players will perform hits from artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Lionel Richie, Nat King Cole, Alabama and Hank Williams Sr.
The opening performance begins at 7:30 tonight. Performances are also scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and are available at The Pineapple and McFerrin’s Jewelry.
