Ida Wimberly Burton, 68, a resident of McKenzie, died in a Mobile hospital Dec. 12, 2012.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Boulware and Mrs. Gina Tate officiating.  Burial will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in McKenzie with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Survivors include her husband, Larry Burton of McKenzie; sons, Cecil James Messer, Jr. of Atwater, Calif.; Ivan Burton of Greenville, Ala.; Roger Lee Burton of Enterprise, Ala.; daughters, Elizabeth Bartlett of Enterprise, Ala.; Deborah Irene Pickering of Collins, Miss.; god-daughter, Michelle Reynolds of McKenzie; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; mother, Opal Scott Dudley of Elmore, Ala.; sister, Alyce Stuart (Ronald) of Deatsville, Ala.; brother, John Lloyd Scott (Jeannie) of Mobile, Ala.; brother-in-law, Ivan Lee Burton (Susie) of Ivanhoe, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
