Scout awards mentor pin to uncle

Bruce Baldree of Chattanooga, Tenn., was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on Oct. 17, 2011, and his court of honor was held May 5, 2012. Baldree, with the help of his uncle Bill Farrar of Greenville, designed and built a greenhouse/outdoor classroom for St. Nicholas School. Baldree is the grandson of Carolyn Herndon and the late Don D. Herndon of Greenville. Baldreeā€™s mother, Marie Farrar Baldree, was a member of the Fort Dale Academy class of 1982. Baldree awarded the Eagle Scout Mentor Pin to Farrar in appreciation of his assistance in planning and implementing the building project.
