Dear Editor,

Last Thursday night the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a “Chamber Chow-Down.”

It was a big success!

The weather was perfect, the food delicious and the music by T. J. Bender and Caleb Luckie was a hit. I want to personally thank everyone who came out and enjoyed the evening.

I want to thank our sponsors, Shrinath, Inc., Hwashin America Corporation, First Citizens Bank, Bank Trust, Butler County Bank, Horn Beverage, Conecuh Sausage, Tri-Rivers Federal Credit Union, South Alabama Gas Company, Gardner Eye Care, Southeast Alabama Gas and Wal-mart.  Our door prize sponsors were Brighthouse, Camellia Communications, Camellia Printing, Court Square Café, Emiy’s Café and Gourmet Coffee, Mattie Gomillion, Greenville Cash and Carry, Hancock Bank, Pizza Hut, Quality Co-op, Shoney’s and The Pineapple.

If you were a lucky prize winner, please thank them for their donation and for supporting the Chamber of Commerce and the “Chamber Chow-Down.”

I want to say a special thank you to the city employees for their hard work. Without all of you our events would not be possible. I really appreciate all you do. Thank you to the Butler County Fairground Association and the Kiwanis Club for a great facility.

This is a community event and a great networking opportunity for our Chamber members and friends.  Everyone is invited to join the Chamber; we have all types of memberships from individual to small or large businesses. If you are not a member, please consider joining and take advantage of activities such as this to build your business network.

Again, thank you for supporting the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce where “Promoting Greenville and Butler County is a Pleasure.”

Sincerely,

Francine Wasden
