Bobby Phelps was named Civitan of the Year at the Camellia City Civitans’ annual awards night on Monday. Phelps, the outgoing president of the club, was presented the award by Lomax Owens. Governor John McCall of the Alabama/West Florida District also installed new officers and board members. Owens will be the incoming president, Mark Coleman will be the president-elect, Allen Peterson will be the secretary and Susan Murphy will be treasurer. Marty Sexton was added to the board. The club also presented donations to the Butler Activity Center, the Greenville Area Arts Council and the Greenville-Butler County Public Library.
