Despite a 40-0 win for Brantley over Kinston, head coach David Lowery said the Bulldogs weren’t “crisp” in their execution.

“We probably had about 15 penalties and four touchdowns called back,” he said.

The Bulldogs led 28-0 at halftime and added two more touchdowns in the second half.

Lowery said Brantley had 293 yards of offense in the first half compared to 13 for Kinston.

“We ran up and down the field, but we couldn’t get into the endzone without getting penalties,” he said.

Statistics and more information will be posted next week.
