Mr. and Mrs. John Skladan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mr. Bruce Phillips of Georgiana, Ala., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Haley Elizabeth Phillips to Raymond Mason III.,  son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Mason II., of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Miss Phillips is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Brenda Bush, and Mr. and Mrs. John Bush of Greenville, Mr. Tony Butts and Mrs. Joann Butts of Selma, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. William Phillips of Georgiana, Ala.

She is a 2007 graduate of Carolina Springs Academy in Donalds, S.C.  She studied nursing at South College and Pellissippi State Technical College in Knoxville, Tenn., and Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She is currently employed at Conch Café in Surfside Beach, S.C.

Mr. Mason is the grandson of Mrs. Ridley Mason Sr., and the late Mr. Raymond Mason Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Fowler of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is a 1996 graduate of Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He studied civil engineering at Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is currently Manager at Nalus Restaurant and Bar in Surfside Beach, S.C.

The wedding will take place on October 6, 2012, at the Reserve Harbor Yacht Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.
