The Greenville Advocate will host a political forum March 6.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature candidates running for the Butler County Circuit Clerk’s office and for the Butler County Commission.

Butler County Probate Judge Steve Norman and Second Judicial Circuit Judge Terri Bozeman Lovell are both up for re-election but are running unopposed and therefore will not be participating in the forum.

“This Political Forum is an opportunity that gives you a direct line to your local government,” Greenville Advocate General Manager Tracy Salter said. “Being involved allows you to increase your knowledge about the operations of all levels of government and play an important role in the changes and constant opportunities in the community.”

The forum will be held at the Wendell Mitchell Conference Center on the campus of LBW Community College in Greenville. Dr. Jim Krudop, LBW Community College Vice President, will serve as the moderator.

Butler County voters can submit questions for the forum by emailing them to editor@greenvilleadvocate.com. Questions must be received by 5 p.m. Friday.
