Fort Dale Academy’s Barrett Leverette and Nedra Toulmin Crosby combined to score 24 points to power the Lady Eagles to a 53-25 win against Monroe Academy Tuesday night.

Leverette and Crosby each scored 12 points to lead the Lady Eagles, who had nine different players score in the win.

Fort Dale connected on 20-of-73 attempts from the field, while holding the Lady Vols to 6-of-44 shooting from the field and 2-of-8 from the behind the 3-point arc.

Mary Sanford Perdue scored eight points, Theresa Scott added six, Anne Matthews chipped in five and Caroline Snellgrove scored four points, while Hannah Johnson, Colby Benson and Stevie Marie Castleberry each scored two.

Fort Dale will be back in action Thursday when it plays host to Pike Liberal Arts School. Junior varsity action will begin at 4 p.m. with varsity action set to follow.
