Graveside  services for the late Ms. Pearline Thicklin who passed on Saturday, December 10, 2011 were held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from Polly Robinson Cemetery, Dixon Mills, Alabama. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Alabama directed. Ms. Thicklin was born in Dixon Mills, Alabama on February 18, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents L. T. and Sadie Mae Dixon; two sisters; Naomi Dixon and Minnie Edwards, a brother Willie T. Dixon, Sr.She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted companion Larry Thompson of Greenville, AL; seven sisters: Addie Dixon, Marie McGraw, Doris Dixon all of Mobile, Alabama; Rosa Jowers, Shirley (David) Moore, Barbara Falkner all of Aurora, IL; Hattie (Maxwell) Darby of Newark, New Jersey; four  brothers: M. V. Dixon, Jessie (Mary) Dixon, and Thaddeus Dixon, all of Mobile, Alabama and L. T. Dixon, Jr., of Dixon Mills, Alabama. She also leaves three children, Taveta (Cedric) Morris, Christa Thompson, Hakeem Thompson and six          grandchildren; a host of nieces one devoted, Veronica (Mike) Charley, nephews and other relatives and friends, one devoted friend Mary McKee of Dothan, Alabama.
