Funeral services for the late Mr. Herman Wilkerson Jr., who passed on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary. Were held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. from Braggs Hill AME Zion Church. Rev. Ellis Bandy, pastor. Rev. Isaiah Posey, officiated. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Alabama directed. Mr. Wilkerson was born on July 3, 1949 in Butler County to late Herman Wilkerson Sr. and the late Marie Atkins. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving stepmother, Mandy Wilkerson, Greenville, AL; a devoted partner Leslie Harris, Lapine, AL; (13) children Moriece (Chantelle) Wilkerson, Lithonia, GA; Beatrice (Padro) Davidson, Herman Dunklin, Cynthia Dunklin, Sherese (Andre) Davidson, Alonzo (Latasha) Wilkerson all of Greenville, AL; Jerome (Sally Mae) Dunklin, Latisha (Donald) Thomas, Montgomery, AL; Yolanda Thicklin, Minter, AL; Janiya Wilkerson, Lapine, AL., Vivian (Eric) Taylor, Letohatchee, AL., Rodney Wilkerson, Atlanta, GA, Regina Loveless Montgomery, AL., 2 step daughters Teresa (Michael) Smith Greenville, AL., Tyesha Harris Lapine, AL. 2 stepson John Harris and Jordan Harris both of Lapine, AL. 26 grandchildren and 3 step children.
