TOMBERLIN, Mr. Joseph K. “Tubby”, 80, a resident of Glenwood, AL died Tuesday, October 4, 2011.

Funeral services were held at 2 PM on Friday, October 7, 2011 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating. Interment followed in Darien Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Tomberlin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Byrd Tomberlin; his daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Todd Parker; his granddaughter, Madison Parker; his sister, Frances Eiland; and his brother, Wilburn (Lalar) Tomberlin.

Active pallbearers were Clint Byrd, Mike Byrd, John Hoffman, Johnny Nichols, T.J. Morrow, and Vernon Moody.
