Margaret Perdue Aker

Mrs. Margaret Perdue Aker, 91, a resident of Honoraville and a former resident of Greenville, AL, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 5, 2011. She was born April 20, 1920 to James Henry Perdue and Claude Andress Perdue in Butler County, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Winn officiating.  Burial will follow in Perdue Cemetery, Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mrs. Aker was preceded in death by her husbands Walter Dixon Jr. and Daniel Aker Jr. She and her husband Daniel lived in New Jersey for 43 years. Upon his death she moved back to Alabama where she spent the remainder of her life in Greenville. Mrs. Aker is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Pete) Hogelin of Sandy Ut. and Sharon (Richard) Sellers of Honoraville, AL and Bonnie Foster of Greenville, AL., grandchild, Danny (Mari) Hogelin and great-grandchild, Estella Margaret Hogelin.
